Sangthong hotel is a large, Chinese style hotel in the centre of surin town. 

Nice and friendly staff, Rooms are clean, they’re looking very old and some of the bathrooms are in very bad shape. Bathrooms aside, the rooms are all very well sized except for the cheapest ones with shared bathroom facilities. If you are arriving during Elephant Round-up (November) and don’t have a reservation, this is a good place to try.
